From WordPress control panel dashboard click on “Plugins”.

After you click on “Activate” you are not finish yet, you will see a warning message above the plugins page that telling you that you need an “API key” to activate the plugin.
So to get “API Key” go to: Aksimiet plugin website, after you enter the website you have to register in Akismiet website to get the API Key, when you register they will send you the API Key to your email.

Then click on “enter your wordpress.com API key” link, you will be redirected to Akismet Configuration page.
