What are the Robots Meta tags? And how to use them?

What are the Robots Meta tags?

The Robot Meta tags are a Meta tags codes that you can add in your web page source to disallow robots to index any web page or to disallow robots to not follow any links.

You can add the robots Meta tag in any page in your website.

Add the Robots Meta tags under the first <head> and before </head>

1) No indexing code (to disallow indexing Webpage)

<META NAME=”ROBOTS” CONTENT=”NOINDEX”>

2) No Follow links code (robots will not follow the web pages that has this code)

<META NAME=”ROBOTS” CONTENT=”NOFOLLOW”>

3) You can make and order to the robots to not follow and to not index any page by adding this Meta tag code:

<META NAME=”ROBOTS” CONTENT=”NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW “>

4) Make an order to the robots to not index a page but follow the links:

<META NAME=”ROBOTS” CONTENT=”NOINDEX, FOLLOW”>

5) Make an order to index a web page but not follow the links:

<META NAME=”ROBOTS” CONTENT=”INDEX, NOFOLLOW”>

6) No Archive (or No cache, you can put this code if you want to disallow search engines robots to cache any page of your website)

<META NAME=”ROBOTS” CONTENT=”noarchive”>

7) You can; No Index, No Archive, No Follow any web page by this Robots Meta tag code:

<META NAME=”ROBOTS” CONTENT=”NOINDEX, NOARCHIVE, NOFOLLOW”>

I know that there are a lot of you know these codes already, but I hope that I’m helping some people!

    Hello, how are you? I truly like your blog! I am wondering if you might help me (I am certain your other subscribers might also be interested). I want to get involved in blogging also and I currently write a blog with wordpress, but it is very difficult for me to make and I would very much like to try to find some good training materials or courses (hopefully ones that are free) that can hopefully assist me in making use of Word Press correctly. As a word press webmaster yourself, do you perhaps maybe know were i can get online tutorials to do this myself?? Thanks!
